SVL demonstrates improved grade continuity for silver at Bowdens Silver Project, NSW

Project Name: Bowdens Silver Project
Project Location: NSW, Australia
Project Stage: Advanced Exploration

ProjectBank Summary:
Silver Mines Limited (ASX: SVL) announces significant grades and thicknesses of mineralisation from infill drilling in undersampled zones of the Bowdens Silver Deposit. The drilling, completed between March and May 2024, extends high-grade mineralisation up to 80 metres vertically and 130 metres laterally from the base of the planned open pit. Notable results include 14m @ 105g/t Ag Eq from 11 metres (BD24005), 70m @ 68g/t Ag Eq from 98 metres (BD24002), and 71m @ 47g/t Ag Eq from 28 metres (BD24014). High-grade gold was also encountered in multiple holes, extending the Southern Gold Zone east and up dip into the open pit area. An updated Mineral Resource Estimate and Ore Reserve statement are expected in Q3 2024.

Silver Mines Highlights:

  • Significant grades and thicknesses of mineralisation returned from infill drilling in undersampled zones of the Bowdens Silver Deposit.

  • Extensions of up to 80 metres vertically and 130 metres laterally made to high-grade mineralisation from the base of the planned open pit.

  • High-grade gold returned in multiple holes, extending the Southern Gold Zone east (40 to 80 metres) and up dip (170 metres) into the open pit area.

  • The Bowdens Silver Mineral Resource Estimate is being updated in expectation of an updated Ore Reserve statement, both due in Q3 2024.

MD/CEO Statement:
Jonathan Battershill, Managing Director, commented: "The results from our infill drilling program are extremely promising, demonstrating improved grade continuity and extending high-grade mineralisation within the Bowdens Silver Deposit. These findings will significantly enhance our open pit optimisation efforts and support the upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate and Ore Reserve update."
