Significant lithium anomalies identified at Padre Paraíso Lithium Project
Project Name: Padre Paraíso Lithium Project
Project Location: Minas Gerais, Brazil
Project Stage: Early-Stage Exploration
ProjectBank Summary:
Verity Resources Limited (ASX:VRL) has reported assay results from 266 soil samples collected at its Padre Paraíso Project in Brazil’s prolific Lithium Valley. These samples have revealed significant lithium anomalies, with concentrations up to 140 ppm Li, confirming substantial potential for spodumene-bearing pegmatites within the 3km-long pegmatite corridor. The anomalies are located in two high-priority zones within the Salinas Formation, which hosts significant lithium deposits across the region. This discovery, just 20km from Sigma Lithium’s world-class Grota do Cirilo mine, marks a critical step in advancing Si6’s lithium exploration efforts.
Godolphin Resources Highlights:
140 ppm lithium recorded as the highest anomaly within a 3km x 800m pegmatite corridor.
Two priority zones identified, supported by favorable geological settings.
Located near Sigma Lithium’s high-purity "Green Lithium" mine (85.6Mt @ 1.4% Li₂O).
Upcoming exploration to include targeted drilling to test spodumene potential at depth.
Execucutve Statment
Ian Kiers, Non-Executive Chairman, commented: “We are very encouraged by these initial results, which confirm the presence of significant lithium anomalies within our project area. The combination of high lithium values and favourable geological settings enhances our confidence in the potential of Padre Paraíso to host a substantial lithium resource. Our next steps will focus on expanding and refining our exploration efforts to unlock the full potential of this exciting opportunity”
