EVR extends Trinchera Este breccia footprint at Parag Project, Peru

Project Name: Parag Project
Project Location: Peru
Project Stage: Advanced Exploration

ProjectBank Summary:
EV Resources Limited (ASX: EVR) advises shareholders that it has extended the known mineralization and dimensions of the Trinchera Este breccia at the high-grade Parag copper-molybdenum project in Peru. The extension results from the successful drilling of hole APG-DDH-006, which has further validated the growing width and length of the structure.

EV Resources Highlights:

  • Hole APG-DDH-006 extends the dimensions of the Trinchera Este breccia and confirms its significant potential.

  • Mineralized porphyry in contact with breccia leads to a reappraisal of the Parag breccia-porphyry model.

  • Trinchera Este is the smallest of six previously drilled breccia outcrops but shows promising mineralization over a strike of up to 1200m and width of up to 500m.

  • Current drill results align with historical exploration work, confirming mineralization across all breccias.

  • Hole APG-DDH-006 assayed 218m at 0.30% Cu and 0.10% Mo from 0m, including:

    • 186m grading 0.30% Cu and 0.20% Mo from 0m to 186m

    • 122m grading 0.40% Cu and 0.20% Mo from 0m to 122m

    • 56m grading 0.50% Cu and 0.20% Mo from 0m to 56m

    • 30m grading 0.60% Cu and 0.30% Mo from 0m to 30m

  • Molybdenum trades at US$48,061/tonne, demonstrating high value relative to copper (US$10,114/tonne).

MD/CEO Statement:
Hugh Callaghan, Managing Director, commented: "The assay results of Hole 6 are outstanding and replicate the calibre of the previous holes at Parag. Not only do the results show shallow, high-grade mineralization, but they also highlight the increased dimension of Trinchera Este. This development necessitates a reappraisal of the geological model and underscores the potential scale of the Parag project. Following this success, we are committed to further exploration and targeting a Q3 Exploration Target for the project."
