EVR drills through Trinchera Este breccia at Parag Project, Peru

Project Name: Parag Project
Project Location: Peru
Project Stage: Advanced Exploration

ProjectBank Summary:
EV Resources Limited (ASX: EVR) is pleased to announce the assay results from its third diamond drill hole (APG-DDH-003) at the high-grade Parag copper-molybdenum project in Peru. The drilling has intersected significant mineralisation within the La Trinchera Este breccia and into two separate mineralized porphyry intrusives.

EV Resources Highlights:

  • Hole APG-DDH-003 at Parag has assayed 211.5m at 0.4% Cu and 0.2% Mo from 3m, including:

    • 160m grading 0.50% Cu and 0.20% Mo from 3m to 163m, with intersections of:

      • 104m at 0.60% Cu and 0.40% Mo from 3m to 107m

      • 32m at 1.2% Cu and 0.40% Mo from 3m to 35m

      • 16m at 0.70% Cu and 0.30% Mo from 43m to 59m

      • 18m at 1.70% Cu and 0.40% Mo from 11m to 29m

  • Molybdenum (US$45,195/metric tonne) continues to trade at greater than 4.5x the spot price of copper (US$9985) on 26th April 2024.

  • Cu and Mo mineralization was observed in host rock and andesitic porphyritic intrusive to the North of the APG-DDH-001 hole (at depth) and extends to the end of the hole.

  • Fingers of mineralized porphyritic andesitic intrusive (at depth) cut the mineralized breccia.

  • Seven diamond drill holes totaling 1980 metres were drilled in this maiden campaign, with more assay results due to be available later in the quarter.

MD/CEO Statement:
Hugh Callaghan, Managing Director, commented: "The assay results of Hole 3 are outstanding and replicate the calibre of the previous two holes at Parag. Not only do the results again show shallow, high-grade mineralization, but Hole 3 assays are significant in that they highlight the enlarged dimension of La Trinchera Este. The breccia is wider and longer than previously thought, and further, with Hole 3 we have drilled through the breccia into two separate mineralized porphyry intrusives."
