Culpeo minerals Confirms Thick Surface Copper-Gold Mineralisation at Fortuna Project, Chile

Project Name: Fortuna Project
Project Location: Chile
Project Stage: Exploration

ProjectBank Summary:
Culpeo Minerals Limited (ASX: CPO) has announced significant copper and gold assay results from surface trenching at the El Quillay South Prospect within its Fortuna Project in Chile. Results from the Phase 1 Trenching Program include notable intercepts such as 46m at 0.90% copper equivalent (CuEq) and 6m at 3.21% CuEq, confirming the presence of wide, high-grade copper mineralisation. Trenching continues to define drill targets, with mineralisation open to the south, while preparations for drilling at the Vista Montana Prospect are also underway.

Culpeo Minerals Highlights:

  • 46m @ 0.90% CuEq in trench EQS002 (hangingwall).

  • 6m @ 3.21% CuEq in trench EQS002 (footwall).

  • 20m @ 0.51% CuEq in trench EQS001 (hangingwall).

  • Site clearance and drill contractor selection progressing for drilling at the Vista Montana Prospect.

MD/CEO Statement:
Managing Director Max Tuesley commented: "These results continue to demonstrate the exceptional potential of the Fortuna Project. The strong correlation of these trench results with mineralisation previously exploited along the 3 km El Quillay structure demonstrates the significant strike extent of this well-mineralised system. We look forward to continuing exploration efforts to further define drill targets and expand mineralisation, which remains open to the south."
