MINE SITE VISITS

Mine site visits are the best way to engage an investor. But they are expensive and require a significant commitment from management in terms of the time and the resources required. It's also increasingly difficult for investors to find the time to get to site, especially if their fund is not already on the register.

ProjectBank offers a managed mine site visit program which includes in-market and virtual visits. We work with clients to clearly define the visit objectives, and to outline the desired outcomes well before the date of the visit, and depending on the stage and scope of the project.

Mine Site Visits (In-Market)

For in-market mine site visits, we can assist with targeting investors, or work with you to secure the interest and participation of existing shareholders and investors known to you. We also work with you to plan the itinerary for the site visit, including coordinating with other service providers, such as the team looking after travel, accommodation, and transportation.

Based on our experience, we are able to help you prepare checklists of potential issues, as well as advise on the time you need to allocate for each activity and contingency for any changes to the program.

Virtual Mine Site Visits

Some projects are difficult and expensive to reach, and some projects are at a stage that may be too early to consider an in-market site visit. And management teams may not always be available to attend site visits, for example during financial reporting periods or at times where executives are travelling elsewhere for investor forums or other meetings.

For this reason, ProjectBank offers a Virtual Mine Site Visit program. This includes a senior journalist creating a detailed project review with access to photographs and site plans to provide investors with access to the type of information they would expect to gain from an in-market visit.

Making Mine Site Visits accessible to all shareholders and new investors

Every ProjectBank site visit results in an extensive project profile being listed on ProjectBank and being made available to upload and host on your own website. We also share summary information with a global contact list of over 2500 sector specific investors (who do not need to leave their desk to learn more about your project). The above information includes a video interview with management (about the mine site) which is also posted to the project profile page on the websites.
